Tree Plantation Camp and Environment Rally
On the eve of 61st Republic Day of India ‘Pahal’ in collaboration
with INCOGNITO a organization of IT, Engineering and management student
organization Tree Plantation Camp and Environment Rally. Mr. M.L. Aeri Director,
D.A.V. Colleges, D.A.V. Management Committee, New Delhi flaged off turns Rally.
Mr. Aeri motivated the growing young boys and girls to be eco friendly in life. Prof. Lakhbir Singh President Pahal told that large number of young population of India is a rare opportunity for the country to lead in move against climate change. He added that Punjab earlier known for its waters and greenery in now lagging behind in environmental issues. Among others who addressed where Sh. C.L.Kochhar Director, Sh. Arora Principal, Principal R.K. Mahajan, Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Prof. Neeru Malhotra, Prof. Ramandeep, Prof. Sanjeev Shally, Mr. Jasbir Singh, Sh. Satvir Singh, Neha Sarangal along with 500 young professionals. They planted 51 saplings of Neem, Peepal, Arjun and Dek on the road side near Sabji Mandi, Near D.A.V. College Play Grounds.
