Blood Donation is one of the high priority activities that PAHAL is carrying out. Enormous Work is required to be done in Blood donation and transfusion sector. There is annual need of more than 110 lacs of blood units in India .The voluntary mobilization is only about 12 lacs .Punjab ,the state of healthy people with prosperous health is able to cater a small margin of 50,000 blood units of our yearly need of 2 lacs of blood units .PAHAL has produced about 48000 units of blood during emergencies and by organizing blood donation camps .

In addition to organizing blood donation camps pahal produced articles and stories for vernacular newspaper /magazines .it sends pamphlets broachers and literature to the masses or different occasions for the popularization of blood donation campaign. it keeps on organizing awareness activities as painting competition ,declamations etc

Pahal has regular membership with Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Imunohaemotology India (ISBTI) .British Blood Transfusion Society (BBTS) United kingdom ,International Blood Transfusion Society (ISBT) Netherlands .PAHAL appeals the countrymen to be voluntary blood Donor. Be alert, The Indications are alarming that the percentage of poor health anemia in young boys and girls is increasing due to damaging life styles.

Environment is mega task before us today .illiteracy , greed ,ignorance and big population explosion have created great gaps which have to be filled by us for our survival and healthy life .In sector of environment PAHAL has earned all praise of Government ,the media and masses.

From time to time it has organized numerous awareness programs such as slogan writing competitions ,easy writings competitions, painting competitions ,mass rallies etc .it has lots of other activities to its credit ,In the field of environment till date about 3 lac saplings have been planted by PAHAL out of which more than 2 lacs are now grown up trees ,providing healthy air ,shelter ,cooling ,timber and habitation to wild like .

Pahal has commendable job in wetland awareness and conservation .It has organized 12 inter college wetland educational tours to kanjli ,harike pattan,Ropar all international wetlands of India on WORLD WETLAND DAYS.

In Health sector PAHAL is creating awareness for healthy life style .it organizes lectures by healthy experts among masses and in institution .it conducts health competitions and demonstration .it could organize a large number of " How to heart smart" show in Public . It Organizes medical check up and free medicine camps in different localities of Kapurthala and Jalandhar urban and rural areas

It has organized eye check up camps a number of times in collaboration with government and private Hospitals of repute. it helps healthy masses toget their medical treatment with human resources and economic resources .Till date 2 lac People could avail the voluntary services of pahal in various area of Punjab

PAHAL is a voluntary organisation promoted by likeminded educationists ,doctars,legal experts ,technocrats ,dynamic enterpreneurs,enthusiastic students and enrgetic youth to bring a progressive change in the existing social setup .It is an Endeavor for better Tomorrow.

Pahal has done its level best to Mobalize youth, civil society to fight problems like population, illiteracy, AIDS, Health because India is the only country with large number of young population. Natural calamities and man made disasters are hard seen reality today .Accidental floods ,air crashes are being observed around the world .80% of landmass is vulnerable to such kind of calamities .60% of land area is earthquake prone in India .The place we work falls under zone 4th of earthquake vulnerability .

PAHAL has launched earthquake awareness programs while collaborating with District administration under UVERP under Govt of India .it has produced and printed number of documentations , Posters , pamphlets in vernacular languages and launched a large number of public awareness programmers.

Drugs have become another menace among general and youth in particular. About 63 % of out total graduated youth are indulging in drugs in one way or the other .PAHAL has its specific drug awareness programs in collaboration with government and corporate bodies

AIDS has become epidemic in African region and now it is spreading like wild fire in India also .PAHAL is working for awareness and rehabilitation of AIDS victims .Articles ,Printouts /handouts/posters in large scale have been printed and distributed by this voluntary organization .on this subject it is regularly interacting with youth of region

PAHAL has done its level best in water wisdom ;it is working on drinking water safety,rainwater harvesting and artificial recharging.it has also taken initiatives in waste management ,in NADAP composting ,vermi composting,waste composting etc.
