World Diabeties Day - 2011
On November 14, 2011 PAHAL celebrated 'World Diabeties Day ' by Organising a free Blood Sugar Check up Camp in Collabration with Prodigy Diabeties Care at Ravidass Nagar Jalandhar in which Sh. Ravi Sharma Principal DAV School Bilga graced the occasion as Chief guest.
Dr. Charnjit Singh Examined about 150 patients with the help of his Para Medical team. Professor Lakhbir Singh President PAHAL said that Around 366 million people worldwide are affected with diabetes .Diabetes is a disease in which your blood glucose, or sugar, levels are too high. Glucose comes from the foods you eat., Exercise, weight control and sticking to your meal plan can help control your diabetes.
